As working professionals faced with the challenges that came with our own children entering primary school - ranging from adapting to the adjustments from preschool to primary school and after school care arrangements for our children to juggling our work commitments against our children's studies and numerous activities, we've gone through it all! - we understand that there are parents like us who are constrained by time but yet, do not want to compromise on what is best for our children.
Out of the Box Kids' Club was set up with the aim of fulfilling the needs of such like-minded parents, where
our standards and service levels are rigorously checked and benchmarked against what we ourselves would want for our own children.
CENTRE MANAGER - Angela Diaz-Wee
Angela's career encompasses accounts and administration work in the corporate sector as well as teaching, both in a Montessori school and as a private tutor. Angela has been giving private tuition to children from Kindergarten level up to Secondary level and is familiar with the school syllabus as well as the demands and challenges faced by students.
Having experienced both, she found a sense of satisfaction in teaching, coaching and interacting with children of all levels, and decided to follow her heart and focus on her passion for children. Through teaching, she has learnt much about the developmental stages of children. She is also aware of how to provide physical and emotional care for children with special needs, where she believes a safe, challenging, entertaining as well as a supportive learning environment is important.
Angela is a WSQ Student Care Teacher graduate. In addition, she also has a Diploma in Counselling, which helps in her ability to understand and communicate with children. Angela's other qualifications include Art of Story-Telling, Creative Writing, Human Relations as well as CPR and First Aid for Children and Adults.
Angela strongly believes each child is an individual and unique in their own way. With her extensive experience and warm and caring personality, she is confident that she is able to stimulate and motivate them to achieve their potential and succeed in daily living.
FACILITATOR - Ain
A Mass Communication graduate, Ain's true passion lies in working with children.
A firm believer in an all-rounded development for each child, Ain conducts social etiquette and creative writing classes in her spare time. She is truly passionate about building and nurturing the child, by developing in them a strong character and a positive attitude to face the world's challenges with confidence.
Having had experience tutoring primary school children in Math, Science and English, Ain is familiar with the MOE syllabus.
Having a deep interest for the Arts, Ain enjoys sketching, painting and visiting exhibitions for leisure. She also enjoys reading and learning languages.
FACILITATOR - Denise Balhetchet
Young, energetic and with a pleasant disposition, Denise is patient and enjoys working with children. Having had experience tutoring both primary and secondary level students, as well as relief teaching at a kindergarten, Denise relates well with children of all ages.
In her free time, Denise enjoys reading and spending time with her family and friends.
With her cheerful personality and teaching experience, we believe that Denise will be a positive influence on the children.
